New construction planned to be built right next Lincoln Road Mall. On the 12,000 sq. ft. parking lot located on Lenox Ave. next to 1111 Lincoln Road building.
The proposed building at 1666 Lenox Ave. would total 11,373 square feet, with 6,353 square feet of retail and restaurant space on the ground floor and two residential units totaling 5,020 square feet on the second floor. (reported by www.bizjournals.com)
Robert S. Wennet president of UIA Management the developer of 1111 Lincoln Road will be the developer and Herzog & De Meuron designed the project.
North Beach
A 12-story condo building could rise in North Beach.
Optimum Development USA applied for the construction designed by Arquitectonica, proposed 30 units for a combined 95,420 square feet. The building would have 66 parking spaces. The city’s planning department recommended denial of the application because it had parking on the ground floor instead of the mandatory commercial or residential uses.(reported by www.bizjournals.com)
